When we updated our web site a couple of years ago somebody recommended me EC1 Solutions. After having had several bad experiences with web designers I was quite surprised of how smooth the whole project turned out. Since than we have used the Content Management System without any problems.

This year we wanted to update the Joomla version to Joomla 3.x and adapt the site to mobile devices. In a very short time we had everything we needed done and working perfectly well.,

Working with Sean and Raicheal from EC1 Solutions was a really refreshing experience for me. I already had a website which had cost a lot to develop, but I still wasn’t happy with it. If I was going to change my web designer and to re-vamp things then I really wanted to make sure I got value for money this time around.

Fortunately for me, Sean and Rachel easily exceeded all of my expectations in every area where I could have harboured any concerns. Most importantly for me, creative input was crucial in order to get the look and feel of the site correct. Both Sean and Rachel were brilliant in this aspect, constantly suggesting ideas, doing extra little bits of design, and providing feedback on what looked and sounded good and what didn’t.

This is exactly the sort of service I wanted and wasn’t getting from my previous design company.

Contrary to what one might expect, I feel the issue of remote working actually benefits the client in the end because you are given an extremely personalised service. With both Skype chat or the phone line being constantly open, I was reassured that work on my project was being correctly prioritised and any questions I had were answered there and then, as well as all the training I needed being delivered at the agreed appropriate time. In short, the quality of the communication with them was as good as I’ve ever experienced in the past. .

In this tough climate, people are demanding real value for their marketing spend. For this reason, and in view of my company being a start-up, the issue of price was all the more important for me.

Sean and Rachel were able to meet my budget with a very competitive price, yet deliver a fabulous service and end-product that I know I would have been charged a lot more for elsewhere.

I would highly recommend using EC1 for all your website needs.

My requirements were not simple with two websites required in two totally different industries with separate target markets and commercial needs mixed with very tight deadlines.

I required immediate action but was sceptical about using an overseas website supplier due to the lack of face to face interaction and obvious communication issues.

After dealing with Sean and Rachel for less than a week my fears were allayed and things were moving fast in a simple and efficient way.

Utilising the latest communication tools to bridge the distance gap and turn what would seem a road block into a benefit, I was able to meet my clients during the day, submit my requirements to Sean in the afternoon and wake up the next morning with the job complete. My clients don't believe that I sleep.

It has also been a huge benefit having a "European" style web design which has separated my clients sites from their Aussie competitors.

We decided to select the EC1 Web Design team to build a complex Comparison Website initially due to the quality of their previous portfolio. The relationship went immediately to a professional footing, with a detailed explanation of how Joomla works and what its features were, which shaped and altered our requirements.

Once work commenced, the site started to take shape within a week, with continuous checking and revisiting of the designs progress against requirements. During this initial period the EC1 team worked outside the requirement and over a weekend to overcome some initial issues with Linux versions on our server and our non too responsive hosting partner to set the platform and keep things moving. Communication was excellent throughout, we always understood progress and timescales against our initial plan.

The deliverable exceeded our expectations, with the guys throwing in good graphics/photoshop work to tailor the site to our own look and feel. In short we felt that the EC1 guys felt as committed to our site as we were.

It’s always a nervy step to engage a new developer, but I would recommend anybody looking for a professional CMS based website to use the EC1 team.
